The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester now has all-new firmware with an improved user interface and a database search function. Furthermore, the tester can now work with a Seaward Test n Tag Elite 2 Printer and Seaward scanner to print and read QR-coded PAT labels. As well as providing more information, QR codes can be scanned by a customer using a smartphone in order to find out full PAT test results and information. A new external battery pack now allows the user to switch the rechargeable battery in the field, thus preventing downtime.

Seawards latest downloading PAT Testing kit comes complete with a durable custom PAT label printer and a lightweight Bluetooth scanner and boast one of the most modern user friendly PAT experiences available. A full firmware update means the tester can now work with QR codes and there is also an improved external battery pack.

With a huge memory capable of storing 10,000 test records, a large full colour display, full QWERTY keypad and built in Risk Assessment Tool the Apollo 500+ is one of the most versatile battery and mains powered tester currently on the market.

The Seaward Apollo 500+ can be used to test a wide range of appliances and environments such as 3 phase testing, earth continuity testing, point to point testing on fixed appliances and is also ideal for testing IT equipment along with built in RCD tests.

The Apollo fully utilizes Bluetooth data transfer technology by allowing users to pair both the Seaward Test N Tag Elite Printer and the Seaward Barcode Scanner. The Elite printer gives anyone the option to print custom labels containing Print asset number, username, test status, barcode, test date and next date due. The printer also gives business owners the option to add their company name and logo which adds a more professional element. The printer benefits from a low running cost at less than 10p per label.

Test procedures are similarly made more efficient when the tester is paired with the Bluetooth scanner. Simply scan printed PAT label barcodes to retrieve previous years information this eliminates the need for repeat data logging a massive time saving peace of mind.
