The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester now has all-new firmware with an improved user interface and a database search function. Furthermore, the tester can now work with a Seaward Test n Tag Elite 2 Printer and Seaward scanner to print and read QR-coded PAT labels. As well as providing more information, QR codes can be scanned by a customer using a smartphone in order to find out full PAT test results and information. A new external battery pack now allows the user to switch the rechargeable battery in the field, thus preventing downtime.

This Apollo 500+ package brings the ideal combination of powerful test operations with ease of use, resulting in a truly modern approach to PAT Testing. This kit ensures users can not only test and save appliance info in any environment but also monitor Risk, print custom PAT labels, scan barcodes and even organise entire jobs via the Seaward PATGuard Elite 3 PC Software.

The Seaward Apollo 500+ is a lightweight ergonomically designed instrument that fits comfortably within your hands, with a built in Risk Assessment Tool the package is suitable for individuals and contractors wishing to PAT test in complete compliance with the IET Code of Practice.

The full QWERTY keypad and large colour display makes navigation faster and easier and the five function buttons allow you to perform tests with complete confidence. The Apollo 500+ has a huge range of professional test procedures including 3 phase testing, earth continuity testing, point to point testing on fixed appliances the tester is also ideal for testing IT equipment along with built in RCD tests. More common tests such as insulation resistance, IEC lead tests, protective conductor current/load, load power/current, alternative leakage current and power socket testing are also included.

Several important official Seaward accessories are included in this all encompassing kit including a copy of Seaward’s PATGuard Elite 3 software a Seaward Test N Tag Printer and a Bluetooth Barcode scanner.

Seaward’s PATGuard Elite 3 software is the recommended database driven software for high performing PAT Testers. The software gives users the ability to store and report data from risk assessments and workplace hazard findings as well as providing options for emailing data, customising and uploading PAT test sequences and creating invoices. This kit includes a one-year licence for this software, however we offer the option of an infinite licence for an additional cost.

Seawards Test N Tag Pro printer is portable, durable printer which can be used to Print asset numbers, usernames, test status, barcodes, test dates and next date due data. This official Seaward printer has one of the lowest running costs available at less than 10p per label. The labels included are made of a high quality synthetic material suitable for demanding environments.

A final accessory which will undoubtedly speed up future testing included in this kit is the Seaward Bluetooth Barcode Scanner. This scanner is extremely compact running on 2 AAA batteries and weighing less than 200g. With this scanner an individual can scan alphanumeric characters from your bar code labels straight into your Seaward PAT Tester, so different appliance barcode labels can now be read instantly into a Seward PAT tester.
