The Kewtech KT72 PAT Tester offers the same testing capabilities as the KT71 but with the added versatility of being a battery powered unit, allowing appliance testing to be carried out in more confined locations.
Use the rotary switch on the front of the Kewtech KT72 portable appliance tester to quickly select between testing Class I, Class II or IEC Leads. Red and Green LEDs will give indication of whether the appliance has Passed or Failed the electrical safety test. In addition an Amber LED will flash to indicate a Pass for appliances with long mains leads or for long IEC/Extension leads. The test reading is clearly displayed on the KT72 display, providing the necessary data for completing a PAT certificate.
The handheld Kewtech KT72 PAT tester is ideal for low volume appliance testing in accordance with the IEE Code of Practice making it suitable for an in-house PAT testing regime. Quickly and accurately test office electrical and IT equipment as well as assets found in domestic environments.
